A New Season Of Ministry
Hello ministry friends,
For the last 7 years I have served on the board for New International, a missions sending organization. I have enjoyed getting to know this mission and hearing how God is working through its missionaries. In September of 2022, the “Chief People Officer” approached me and asked if I would consider joining the organization and serve in the area of recruitment. After many conversations and prayer I am excited to say I have accepted the position.
When I was approached by Christian Student Fellowship about coming to Indiana University for a position in campus ministry I felt a call on my life to work with college students. The theology of calling is something that I have been thinking about and talking to students about for the past 23 years. The last 10 years I have been more excited in having these conversations with the goal of helping students discern their calling. Something I have learned about myself is I’m a connector, and my new position will be connecting people that are interested in missions with missional opportunities.
And so, with excitement, for the future of Christian Student Fellowship, I would like to introduce to you Ben Geiger, the new lead campus minister. I’m excited to see what God has in store for the next 25 years. Will you please pray for Ben and this new season of transition, let’s pray for God to do “immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine.”

HELLO CSF
My name is Ben Geiger and I am extremely humbled and excited about becoming the new lead minister at CSF. Outside of my relationship with Christ, my family is the most important part of my life. This August will mark 14 years of marriage with my amazing wife, Angie. She is one of the most Christ-like people I know (so selfless, loving, and wise), her faith is truly inspiring. Together we have three wonderful kids: Brennan (11), Paxton (10), and Brooklyn (8). We’re really trying to be present during this phase of parenting. Angie and I encourage and empower each of our children in their relationships and pursuits. We love all the sports tournaments and weekend camping trips!
As far as my own childhood, I grew up as a preacher’s kid, spending my early years in Northwest, PA, before moving to Louisville, KY, during my middle/high school years. After high school I went on to graduate from Johnson University in 2009 with a degree in Bible and Media Communications. While ministry is the one thing I said I would never do, God had other plans!
Christian Student Fellowship is an incredible ministry, and I can’t wait to see how God continues to use us to grow His Kingdom. We are praying for the salvation and sanctification of countless college students in Bloomington, through the work of the Holy Spirit, and to the glory of Jesus Christ!
